Yes, you read that correctly.
My wife and I are conservatively-minded Bible-believing Christians, and we are also social nudists. The two are not mutually exclusive, as some would have you to believe.
What we believe is that the human body is inherently good, created by God Himself in His own image, and that it should be honored and respected. We do not believe that being unclothed itself is shameful, only the behavior of some people when they are. Scripture strongly supports this view.
When we visit our friends at their resort we always enjoy the clothing-optional Bible study and church service held there; some people are dressed, others are not, and neither group has an issue with the other. We want to experience that same pleasure closer to home, so we went ahead and started a group of our own.
We have had enough of a positive response that we have set our first meeting for the evening of Tuesday, October 11.
Before I go any further let me be very, very clear as to what we want to do with this study group:
All of our meetings will be distinctly for the purpose of studying God’s Word, and for having fellowship with others, Christians or seekers, nudist or not, in a clothing-optional environment. That is ALL. This will in no way be anything relating to, associated with, permitting, or accepting of any type of open “adult” activity. Those things are blessings given by God for the pleasure of a man and his wife, alone and in private.
What we will be allowing is for people like us, who do not feel the necessity to be covered from head to toe every moment of the day, to gather together from time to time to study God’s Word in a setting that will allow them to dress- or not- as they please, excepting of course any sort of clothing designed to be enticing or provocative. We will not be hosting a lingerie party.
We want Christian discussion and fellowship with others who feel as we do, or at least with those who are comfortable enough to be around people who feel as we do. Nobody will ever be forced to dress any less than how they feel completely comfortable, nor will anybody be forced to believe as we do, for that matter, but what will be required of anybody attending will be the open-mindedness to be around Christians and others who are semi- or completely freed from clothing within the privacy of a group member’s home, to study God’s Word in a lively manner, and to be open and honest with each other.
If a Bible-study of this sort is something that you would be interested in being a part of, or if you wish to know more than I have said here, please respond.
May God bless you all.
